The serene outdoor venue was adorned with yoga mats, banners, and nature-inspired decor, creating the perfect ambience for mindfulness and rejuvenation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1387\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-859 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/donksamiti.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/11-2025-Yoga-Day-2-300x157.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"304\" height=\"159\" srcset=\"https:\/\/donksamiti.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/11-2025-Yoga-Day-2-300x157.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/donksamiti.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/11-2025-Yoga-Day-2.jpeg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 304px) 100vw, 304px\" \/>The programme began with a warm welcome by the DONKS Chairperson, who reflected on yoga\u2019s rich heritage within Indian culture and its growing significance in everyday life. She highlighted that <strong data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1184\">\u201cOne Earth, One Health\u201d<\/strong> conveys a powerful message when individuals adopt healthier lifestyles, they contribute to a healthier world. This vision aligns with DONKS\u2019 dedication to community well-being and cultural preservation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1389\" data-end=\"1764\">A certified yoga instructor led the session, beginning with <strong data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1477\">deep breathing exercises<\/strong> (Pranayama) such as <em data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1512\">Anulom Vilom<\/em>, <em data-start=\"1514\" data-end=\"1526\">Kapalbhati<\/em>, and <em data-start=\"1532\" data-end=\"1542\">Bhramari<\/em>, encouraging participants to connect breath with awareness. This was followed by a series of <strong data-start=\"1636\" data-end=\"1657\">warm-up movements<\/strong>, preparing everyone for the main asanas. Participants then performed foundational yoga postures including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1766\" data-end=\"1969\">\n<li data-start=\"1766\" data-end=\"1798\">\n<p data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1798\"><strong data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1780\">Tadasana<\/strong> (Mountain Pose)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1799\" data-end=\"1830\">\n<p data-start=\"1801\" data-end=\"1830\"><strong data-start=\"1801\" data-end=\"1816\">Vrikshasana<\/strong> (Tree Pose)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"1866\">\n<p data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1866\"><strong data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1848\">Trikonasana<\/strong> (Triangle Pose)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1867\" data-end=\"1900\">\n<p data-start=\"1869\" data-end=\"1900\"><strong data-start=\"1869\" data-end=\"1885\">Bhujangasana<\/strong> (Cobra Pose)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1901\" data-end=\"1931\">\n<p data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1931\"><strong data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1916\">Vakrasana<\/strong> (Twist Pose)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1932\" data-end=\"1969\">\n<p data-start=\"1934\" data-end=\"1969\"><strong data-start=\"1934\" data-end=\"1952\">Surya Namaskar<\/strong> (Sun Salutation)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2310\">The graceful synchronisation of movements created a vibrant and peaceful atmosphere. Even first-time practitioners enjoyed the session, guided gently by instructors and senior members. Children enthusiastically participated, learning simple poses and chanting \u201cOm,\u201d demonstrating the inclusivity and family-friendly spirit of DONKS events.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2312\" data-end=\"2537\">A short meditation session followed, focusing on harmony, gratitude, and emotional balance. Participants were encouraged to carry this calmness into their daily routine, using yoga as a tool for inner strength and resilience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2539\" data-end=\"2809\">After the yoga practice, a brief interaction was held where members discussed the health benefits of yoga\u2014improved flexibility, reduced stress, stronger immunity, and enhanced mental clarity. Refreshments were served, adding to the warm community feeling of the morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2811\" data-end=\"3069\">The Chairperson concluded the event by thanking all participants and volunteers for making the Yoga Day celebration meaningful. She emphasized that practising yoga is not limited to one day; it is a lifelong journey of self-care, discipline, and mindfulness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3071\" data-end=\"3398\">The <strong data-start=\"3075\" data-end=\"3129\">International Yoga Day celebration on 21 June 2025<\/strong> became a memorable and energizing experience for Delhi Odia Nari Kalyan Samiti.
